Privacy policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Short version: nyvegas.com runs cookie-light, privacy-friendly analytics, a double opt-in newsletter, and affiliate tracking handled entirely by our booking partners. We don't sell personal data — there's barely any to sell.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free tool. Plausible collects aggregate, non-identifying data (page views, referrers, rough geography) and stores no personal data or cross-site cookies. Outbound clicks on labeled partner links are counted as aggregate events so we can report which placements earn — counts only, nothing about you individually.
Affiliate links & partner tracking
When you click an outbound booking link, you leave nyvegas.com and the partner's own privacy policy takes over. Those partners (e.g. Travelpayouts network brands like Hotellook and Aviasales) may set their own cookies to attribute bookings — that's how the affiliate model works and it happens on their side, not ours. We never receive your name, payment details, or travel details from them; we receive aggregate commission reports.
Newsletter
"The Vegas Price Drop" is hosted on Buttondown with double opt-in: you give us your email, Buttondown sends a confirmation, and you're subscribed only after you confirm. Unsubscribe anytime from any email. We use your address solely to send the newsletter; we don't sell or share it, and it's deleted if you unsubscribe.
What we don't do
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no data brokerage, no popups begging for your email. If we ever change any of this, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
